Role: Project Manager and National Office Co ordinator
Maureen has been employed by SAMS for the past 13 years as Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive.
Before joining SAMS Maureen worked in a number of administrative roles, and spent time in the education sector teaching people with disabilities. Maureen’s work is ever changing and can range from organising SAMS’ training programme to being a team member on evaluations. In her “spare” time Maureen runs SAMS’ National Office activities. Maureen believes everyone should be given the support necessary to lead a fulfilling life. Beyond SAMS, Maureen has spent some years as a volunteer supporting people with mental health issues and intellectual disability get a better life.
Maureen has a Certificate in Adult Teaching and Learning, and holds various qualifications in administration and accounting.
